Sensei Dave DOB: many moons ago
I started in Martial Arts when I was 10 and took up Judo, a friend of mine dragged me along to a session, but unfortunately I dropped off that and had a go at Aikido, of which I really liked but financial constraints took their toll and by the age of 14 i was amateur boxing, I never really lit up the sky with this but had some moderate success, over the next few years I did a variety of Martial arts some good some bad, and ended up where I am now, I have also trained in Kendo for a number of years now and it’s a MA that I really enjoy, I don’t teach Kendo I just do it!, Karate has also been around for a number of years also, and I get a buzz out of teaching Karate, and as far as Martial arts is concerned the two are miles apart, that’s what I like about them both.
Where am I going to? Don’t know really I am quite happy buzzing along as I am, I leave the ambitions to the younger guys! We all have to consider a sell by date at some time!
