Dan Grading Manchester Oct 08
Rob Anthony and Michael Cuming both attended the Cobra Headquarters to attempt their grades and we are pleased to say they both gained their grades with a high pass mark!!!
Michael started off with his Kata’s Sepai and Kankudai then with my choice kata of Empi, next up was Rob with his Kata’s of sanseru and Gion instructor choice was Saifa he then performed his kobudo kat of Empi with the Katana!! And he nailed them all they were absoloutely the best kata of anyone all day!!! Well done Rob!! Then onto Set combo’s and freestyle combo’s, the came the “fitness section where they both also did well.
The final sections were Padwork and Kumite, when it came to Kumite we had a good session, Rob v Mike then it was Rob v Johnny and Mike v tom then after a few minutes they changed over and then at the end it was a “free for all” everyman for himself!! They were absoloutely knackered!!! But it was fun!! As Andy Morrell said “the bushido pub brawl” but a nice end to yet another successful day for Bushido!! Well done to both of you guys you genuinely deserve it!
