Sensei Victoria Nidan
D.O.B 24/02/1988
I started karate when I was 6 to give me the confidence to stand up for myself. I trained with my younger brothers, mum and dad and also graded alongside them. I enjoyed learning new katas and techniques and still do, but I also love practising the basics of karate, I think these are essential to being a good karate-ka. However, when I took my first Shodan grading I failed, but instead of giving up I learned from my mistakes and worked longer and harder and passed my Shodan grading in 2003 after moving to Bushido Karate Jitsu. I learned from that experience and now put full effort into every single class I attend. I gained my Nidan in 2005 and have since then started teaching students. I am now a MASA approved Martial Arts Instructor for Bushido Karate Jitsu. I have matured within Martial Arts as I have been constantly training for 12 years and therefore have a lot to offer the club as an instructor.
What do I want to do now? I want to continue teaching and developing myself, and my own karate, including developing other aspects of martial arts like weapons where I am currently studying the Fans and Nun-chuks.
