Gradings at Bushido Karate-Jitsu are conducted every three months.

Gradings are open to students who are fully insured and able to manage the rigores of grading.
This can be both physical and mental strain. Nervousness can be a major factor. What students need to remember is that practice not only helps to perfect the techniques but also helps to allay the fears of freezing through lack of confidence.
Sensei can help you before the grading but on the day it is YOUR GRADING AND IT IS YOU WHO MUST GIVE YOUR BEST. Even failure can be turned into a positive for the future. Rather than running away from it, stay and correct the mistakes and show determination and guts.
In your future years you will be a better person because of it.

Dan Gradings are done at the CMAA in Mancheseter, we believe this to be an excellent way to gain your Dan grade,  also it shows that we as a club are not just “giving them away” (not like some clubs who keep everything in house to hide their in abilities), and also to prove that our student grades  are being earned! Students are only put forward for a Dan grade if we the Senior Instructors see that the student is capable of of that level, only then will they be allowed to attempt their grade.
